Dog Walker/ Pet Sitter's role:
Our area of focus is bestowing peace of mind over busy or traveling pet parents by caring for their pets and homes just like they would. This entails walking dogs, playtime, cleanliness, feeding and hydrating pets, litter cleanup, medication if required, and above all, pampering them with affection.
You'd also need to provide clients with visit reports and pictures of the pets. Regular team communication via Slack will be expected.
Pre-requisites:
- Physically fit to perform tasks like dog-walking, stair-climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Residing within our service area
- Reliability of your own insured vehicle and a driver's license. Protective gear for the car will be provided.
- Smartphone with advanced functions (photos/video/GPS)
- Availability for the shifts you choose
- Year-round availability
- Comfort with dogs walking in different weather conditions (safety measures in place for extreme weather conditions)
- Animal lover (no formal experience required)
- Comfortable caring for both dogs and cats
- Able to pass a background check
